This is the first in a series of posts highlighting the wonderful people who do the hard work of educating GRACE Project Academic Center students. GRACE teachers help our students to achieve – often beyond students’ own expectations. Learn more about the GRACE Academic Center and please consider making a donation to help support our work.

A teacher who loves when GRACE students achieve

How long have you been a teacher?
I have been in this profession for the last six years.
What do you love most about teaching?
What I love most about my job is when I interact and share with young brains that are eager to learn and explore.
What is the biggest challenge to educating the students?
My most challenging moments in educating students are when I am teaching children from humble backgrounds. Things become difficult as the students feel disowned, frustrated and looked down upon, even when they are not. A teacher must be careful on how to handle such cases.
What resources do you wish to have for your students?
The resources I wish for my students are a well-equipped library and an ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) room to ensure they acquire the best skills.
What inspires/motivates you?
What inspires me in most is when a slow learner is assisted and uplifted in his or her academic performance and ends up achieving his or her dreams in life.
